At least once a year, I like to head up to Prince Edward County to explore the area with my family and friends.
And through the years, we have seen a significant boom in breweries.
In my previous I went into details about one of my must stops, Parson Brewing Company. Here is a list of other breweries that I also have visited. You can find out more details about these breweries by clicking on the name of the brewery.
County Cider Company
Located: 657 Bongards Crossroads, Waupoos
Favourite: Blood Orange Cider
Technically the County Cider Company is considered an estate winery, but they specialize in authentic hard cider since 1995.
Prince Eddy’s Brewing Company
Located: 13 MacSteven Drive, Picton
This brewery is in Picton’s industrial park. They have a 2-storey tasting room that over looks their state of the art brewhouse and facility.

Midtown Brewing Company
Located: 266 Wellington Main St., Wellington
This brewery features a full kitchen, retail store and an onsite farmer’s market.
Barley Days Brewery
Located: 13730 Loyalist Pkwy, Picton
Barley Days Brewery opened its doors in 2007 as the first craft brewery in Prince Edward County.
555 Brewing Co.
Located: 124 Main St., Picton
This brewery is located in the heart of Picton with a great location and great view of the main strip.
Gillingham Brewing Company
Located: 1316 Wilson Rd., Hillier
Independently family owned, small batch brewery with big intentions.

Crimson Cider Co.
Located: 13762 Loyalist Parkway, Picton
Crimson Cider Company is the newest craft cidery located centrally in Prince Edward County.
Church-Key Brewery
Located: 1678 County Rd #38, Campbellford
I like this place, cause they named a beer after me….just kidding. But there was a beer with my name on it.
The County Canteen
Located: 279 Main St. W., Picton
If you can’t decide which breweries to go to, just head to the County Canteen. They have 26 craft beers on tap, all Ontario craft beers. They also have great food.
I highly recommend that you make your way to Prince Edward County. It is absolutely a wonderful place. Lots to do.
Till next time. Cheers!
